Here are the rubrics for our TV Segment project. Neither are final drafts; there may be minor changes made to them before the project due date.
I will use one of them (labelled 'Teacher') to assess your videos.
The other one is a simpler version ('Audience') that you will use to give feedback to your peers while you watch the videos.
See you tomorrow :)
This week we'll dive right into our TV segment project. On Monday we'll look at the information you've collected during our initial Meiji Period research and start thinking about how the major changes in Japanese society can be conveyed through various types of video media.
I've uploaded a first draft of the project overview. This may change -- but I'll tell you if it does.
I'm also including the text for the video proposal for you to copy into a Google Doc and share with me.
TV Segment Proposal
Objective of segment:
General format of segment:
Give a brief overview of what will occur in your segment:
Production details (what equipment or facilities will you require?):
What perspectives will be portrayed in your segment?
What roles will be required to create your segment? (eg. on-camera, writer, producer, director, etc.) Each member of your group should have a role.
If you haven't handed me a physical copy of your March/April quickwrite, or your second (or final) draft of your Aztec Diary Entry, you need to get it in ASAP.
Please share documents to my Google email. My username is krtempest (@ the same suffix as yours).
